INVICTUS Sports Group is glad to announce that Zan Tabak is the new head coach of Trefl Sopot. After five years as assistant coach in the ACB League between Real Madrid and Cajasol Sevilla, the Croatian former NBA Champion (he won the ring with the Houston Rockets as backup of Hakeem Olajuwon, and also three European Champions Cup with Yugoplastika and a Copa del Rey with Malaga all along twenty years of playing career) just ended his first season as head coach, leading CB Sant Josep Girona in LEB Oro and showing all his character and charisma to keep the team together, surviving to the tough financial problems of the club and reaching the 12th place. And now, after the “extra-experience” done in this season, he will make one more important step, leading the finalist of last PLK League to fight for the title in Poland, and also to compete in the Eurocup! As always, he will focus his job on the deep acknowledgement of the locker-room, understanding how to talk and motivate young and veteran players through the hard work, and continuing to develop the technical side of basketball.
