Last weekend in Rimini, Italy, there was the second edition of the "CNA International Clinin Giovanni Papini" dedicated to basketball coaches. And it was extremely successful, because the 230 coaches had the amazing experience to learn directly from the speeches of Xavi Pascual and Ettore Messina, two of the greatest coaches ever of European basketball! The clinic was organized from the Basketball Federation of Italy together with 'Giorgio Gandolfi - Sport Marketing, Events and Communications', and the lessons held by Pascual and Messina were followed not only by young coaches, but also from experienced coaches of the Italian Serie A League like Sacchetti, Caja, Vitucci, Mazzon, Cancellieri, Finelli and others, some foreigner coaches coming from different countries, and also some very famous Italian former players studying to become basketball coaches like Gianmarco Pozzecco, Gregor Fucka and Davide Lamma. There also were lessons held by the assistant coach of North Carolina Steve Robinson and by the head coach of Montverde Academy Kevin Boyle. Xavi Pascual spent very positive words about the event: "It was really a nice experience for me. I found a very good organization, made by people in love with basketball, and the coaches attending the lessons were very passionated. I felt the responsability of making a good job for all of them, and I was very glad to share my experiences with them". On the other side, the organizator Giorgio Gandolfi commented the presence of Xavi Pascual in enthusiastic way: "He is really a fantastic coach and person as well, he came in Rimini with great disponibility and ready to live this experience at the best. We really thank him and hope to have him again with us next year!".
